We are people passionate about Saskatchewan, and we care about making a real difference in our communities. We're beginning our venture with something close to the land to learn and grow. Our core values of earning community trust, minimizing negative impacts, and making choices that benefit future generations, guide us: – like the idea that we should plant trees even if we won't see them grow tall.
While that might sound idealistic, there is a strong community here in Saskatchewan that understands the importance of nature and balance. We're learning from local experts and resources, like "The Prairie Gardener Series."
We're also interested in the cooperative model, which has deep roots in Saskatchewan and aligns with our commitment to community trust. We'll be working with Cooperatives First to explore becoming a co-op.
We're driven to build something sustainable in a changing world, learning from our experiences. While we need to be profitable to maintain and improve our business, we're also dedicated to building an equitable structure and community. We will consult with local advocacy groups as we grow.
